Hrebenne with disruptions from August 17. Renovation works begin at the border crossing

From August 17, 2026, drivers and carriers using the Hrebenne Customs Office should expect disruptions. Renovation works will begin at the border crossing, covering concrete surfaces, linear drainage systems and expansion joints. The works will include maneuvering roads and parking areas on both the entry side into Poland and the exit side from the country. As a result of the renovation, some sections of the roads and parking areas will be temporarily closed to traffic.

For heavy goods transport, this means limited space for maneuvering and parking within the customs clearance area. This may result in slower vehicle processing and temporary queues, particularly during periods of increased traffic. The Hrebenne Customs Office handles traffic on an important Polish-Ukrainian route, so carriers planning to travel through this location should take possible delays into account and check the current situation before arrival. The customs administration did not specify an end date for the renovation in its notice.
